Clinic News

We are in the middle of flu season and it is quickly spreading across Colorado. We are seeing flu (Influenza) in the schools. Please keep your child home from school if they have any flu symptoms. Infected persons are contagious from 24 hours before symptoms to 5-7 days after the onset of symptoms. Students need to stay home from school until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever without the use of fever reducing medicines. (tylenol (acetaminophen) and motrin (ibuprofen)). Students with a history of asthma and/or other chronic medical conditions should see a doctor if flu is suspected. Please call the school nurse, Holly Harris, if you have any questions at 720-886-2905.
