A Message from our Principal, Chris Hardy

Dear Sunrise Community-

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! We are excited to start this year’s journey with you. Let’s Embrace the Journey!

We are starting our 34th year in Southeast Aurora and Cherry Creek School District. We are proud of our continually developing role as a caring community school. Sunrise’s vision, “a safe place to learn, grow, laugh, dream and belong” holds true every day of the year. In addition, we emphasize the Three “Be’s” of behavior, “Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.”

Our tradition of an active and supportive PTCO (Parent Teacher Community Organization) continues. They are eager for parents and families to get involved in a variety of ways. Their regular meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at 9:15 am and the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm. Check their facebook page for the correct time. Their first big event is the Sunrise Fun Run, one of the primary fundraisers for the year.

Looking forward to a great year-

Chris Hardy

Principal
