Dear Parent or Guardian,
During the 2015 legislative session, lawmakers passed SB 15-223 which gives parents the right to refuse to have their children take the state standardized tests CMAS, PARCC and the PSAT/SAT without any negative consequences to the student, teacher or school.
The Cherry Creek School District has created a form for parents which can be found on the district's website.
Please fill out the form as soon as possible so that your child's school can plan for those students who will not be taking the test, and so we can provide the Colorado Department of Education with an accurate count of parent refusals.
